Why visit?

The Warsaw Uprising Mound in Mokotów was built from rubble cleared after the destruction of Warsaw. A monument to Fighting Poland stands at the top, with a city panorama from the viewing terrace. It is a place of remembrance best visited thoughtfully, combined with a walk through green Mokotów.
