Why visit?

Copernicus Science Centre on the Vistula is built around testing phenomena rather than looking at them behind glass. Interactive galleries, the Robotic Theatre, the High Voltage Theatre, the Makerspace and laboratories create a flexible programme for families, adults and curious travellers. ## What to see Do not try to complete everything in one visit. Pick several galleries and leave time to repeat the experiments. The Planetarium requires a separate ticket, while laboratory and Makerspace sessions depend on availability. The Bzzz! gallery is intended for children under seven accompanied by an adult. Copernicus is not a traditional museum with a fixed line of display cases. Its strength is that questions, attempts and mistakes are part of the visit. It is a reliable rainy-day choice and works well for groups with different interests. Tickets are timed and may sell out online. The current published price for the exhibitions is PLN 48 on weekdays and PLN 50 on weekends, holidays and school breaks; reduced tickets are PLN 34 and PLN 36. The Planetarium has a separate price list. Allow three to four hours, or a full day if you add several activities. Check the centre’s daily update before travelling because individual zones can have changing availability.
