Brama Poznania ICHOT is a heritage interpretation centre telling more than a thousand years of Ostrów Tumski history. Instead of a conventional collection, it links a multimedia exhibition with the island, the cathedral and the early history of the Polish state. ## What to see The exhibition is organised around stories of water, the settlement, gold and the cathedral. After the exhibition, take the audio walk around Ostrów Tumski; the exhibition ticket includes access to it within ten days. The nearby Śluza Gallery and the glass footbridge over the Cybina are worth adding. The centre is useful for travellers who want to understand Poznań rather than simply collect monuments. The audio format works well for families and international visitors, with eight language versions available. Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 09:00–18:00 and Saturday to Sunday 10:00–19:00; the last exhibition entry is one hour before closing. Allow 1.5–2 hours for a first visit. The published ticket prices are PLN 35 standard, PLN 29 reduced and PLN 53 family. Entries take place every 20 minutes. The nearest public transport hub is Rondo Śródka, with paid car parks nearby.
